GUTHRIE, Okla. — As the maintenance worker for Westview Living Center, Gerald Perry, Jr. had unlimited access to this Guthrie facility.
Guthrie Police Spokesman, Mark Bruning, said, “They thought they could trust him, so he could go in the rooms with clients, be himself. He obviously violated their trust.”
Police said Perry raped and molested several residents there.
According to court records, one client came forward and told administrators Perry inappropriately touched her.
Westview launched an investigation and discovered at least three more victims.
When asked how many times this had happened, one resident said, “a whole lot more.”
Another said she was “scared” to say anything “and she didn’t think anyone would believe her.”
The administrator declined an on-camera interview but told us they do criminal background checks on all employees.
