In today's economy, financial debt and student loans are common place. However, Langston University and American Student Assistance are hoping to help students make sound financial decisions.
The SALT program is an educational tool that helps students and alumni successfully manage their finances in the years to come.
“Langston University is committed to easing our students’ debt burden,” Sheila McGill, director of financial aid at Langston University, said. “While we cannot erase the debt that our students take on, we can empower them to make smarter, more informed financial decisions. SALT is about giving students and alumni the financial competencies they need to take control of not only their student loan experience, but all of their finances as they transition from college to the workplace.”
